Karen teacher's awful drunken meltdown caught on camera (2025)

Shocking bodycam footage captured the moment a drunken teacher berated police officers after they were called to a wild teenage party held at her principal's home.

Karly Anderson was seen in newly released footage screaming at neighbors and cops in a slurred rant on the street, telling them at one stage: 'Oh why don't you just f***ing put me in f***ing handcuffs.'

In footage first shared by Click Orlando, Anderson seemingly referred to her neighbors as she told police: 'What the f*** is wrong with them?

'Cocoa Beach has gone mad and nasty.'

Anderson was arrested in January alongside Roosevelt Elementary School principal Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan, whose home had hosted the huge teen party earlier that month.

Police said around 200 teenagers aged between 13 and 17 went to the 'white lie' themed party, and claimed that when they were called to the home to help a student who'd blacked out.

Officers said Hill-Brodigan briefly emerged from her home to see police checking on the teen, and raced back inside. The bodycam footage then begins with Anderson cursing at the officers.

She was seen telling them: 'I’m concerned about a child that’s being put into a machine, into one of these vehicles, and it’s not my f***ing business.'

The bodycam footage then showed one of the officers berating Anderson as she slurred through her explanation to police about the party.

'I was here hanging out at this party,' she said.

The officer interjected: 'You’re here with your boss having a party with 200 kids who are drinking.'

Anderson is now facing charges of disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication, which were lesser misdemeanor charges than the police's recommendation of child neglect.

The teacher previously claimed in an interview with Inside Edition that she was 'not attending the party', and her attorney told DailyMail.com after her arrest that she 'didn't know anything about it, didn't provide any alcohol, didn't drink with children, didn't see a party, didn't see alcohol.'

Anderson had also claimed that she lost her job following her arrest, however Click Orlando reports that she was actually moved to a different school soon after.

The Brevard Public Schools District said this week in a statement that she had been 'cleared of felony charges' and by the Department of Children and Family Services, and as such 'she'sbeen placed by the district back into a classroom.'

The move to employ Anderson at a different school sparked protests in the small Florida community, with organizer Ashley Fernandez branding it 'infuriating.'

In a police report following the party, officers claimed they witnessed over 100 teenagers at Hill-Brodigan's home, including some doing drugs.

One boy was so drunk he was vomiting and had to be treated by paramedics, another girl tried to drive home intoxicated, and a third was cited for marijuana.

When the police arrived, they found over 100 minors in matching t-shirts, with some students telling police that 'alcohol was ready and available in multiple red/white coolers inside the residence'.

They alleged the party was advertised on Snapchat, and said 'parties like this happen once or twice a month' at the home.

Hill-Brodigan denied being involved in the events at her home or any other 'underaged ragers', police said.

Anderson's attorney Kenneth Weaver claimed at the time, before the police bodycam footage had been released, that the teacher and principal were having dinner together at the time and had no idea about the party.

Weaver alleged that Hill-Brodigan's teenage son organized the party behind his mother's back, and said Anderson 'just got caught in the middle of it.'

An affidavit filed with the court by police also stated an officer called Hill-Brodigan before they even arrived at her house, and she told them she was down the street and would return home to 'handle the issue'.

Weaver said Hill-Brodigan rushed home and Anderson tagged along to help her break up the party and kick the kids out of her home.

'My client went with her just to support her friend. I suspect they thought they'd go home, yell at some kids and go back out... but it didn't didn't work out that way,' he said.

Teens at the party reportedly told police that principal Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan (pictured) often held parties at her home, which she denied

Students allegedly told a different story to police, claiming Hill-Brodigan - whom they knew was the elementary school principal - was inside the house while the party was going on.

They also claimed she asked some of them to help make preparations for the party, and 'seemed OK with what was happening'.

Hill-Brodigan told one of her sons to stop the event, but her son ignored her and she took no further action to stop the party, the students claimed.

Weaver said the vast majority of the teenagers were able to escape into a golf course behind the house after one of the partygoers distracted police.

'He called 911 and reported somebody being held at gunpoint at another public park in the city. So all the cops packed up and went over there,' he said.

'If they can figure out who it was, some kid is going to be famous.'

Hill-Brodigan became principal of the elementary school on May 2, 2024, according to the school's website.

At the time she wrote that she was 'over the moon excited to be the new principal' after a 23-year teaching career.

'Students, families, and staff are very close to my heart, I really enjoy what I do,' she said.

Hill-Brodigan posted a $3,500 bond and Anderson was released on a $3,000 bond.

Brevard Public Schools Superintendent Mark Rendell said after their arrests that he was 'very troubled' by the allegations.

'We hold our leaders to the highest of standards, and if these allegations are true, it's a complete failure in leadership and [a] violation of our trust,' he said.

'The district is cooperating fully with police as they investigate this matter, and will strive to provide families with full transparency.'
